The spoonbill is one of those birds that usually fall in the shadow of the flamingo but represents the true Florida. A native of the Florida Everglades that roams the harsh frontier sitting on its throne as the kings and queens of the glades. Its wisdom attached to its magnificent bald head with peering red eyes and feathers as pink as a neon sign on ocean drive.
